Notes

Should have used 4 gallons of sparge water instead of 5 - had about 7.5 gallons pre-boil, which would have been perfect for a 1 hour boil, but was planning a 20 minute boil. Need to take that into account next time

Started first 2 gallons of first runnings boiling, and it had this weird caramelization on the side of the pot - hope it doesn't lend an acrid, burnt taste to the beer

Boiled very low for about 45 mins to 1 hr while tending to kids, then did 20 minute regular boil

Chilled to 170 and whirlpooled for 30 mins.

Wort chiller knocked it down to 90 degrees within 10 minutes. Then pitched 4 tablespoons of Kveik slurry from previous batch a few months ago.
