A wire hood fastener easily secures wire hoods on sparkling wines, champagne bottles, and Belgian beers. After securing the cork, place a wire hood on top. Place the loop of the wire hood on the hook of the fastener, and spin the handle. It will twist the wire evenly, tightening the hood around the cork.
