Briess Caramel Crystal 90L malted grain can be used in small amounts to provide balance in Pilsner beer and other similar styles. When used in amounts of up to 15% of the total grain bill, Caramal Crystal 90L contributes pronounced caramel, slight burnt sugar and raisiny flavors which compliment Marzen and Oktoberfest beers, Doppelbocks, Barleywines, Scotch Ales, Stouts, and some Porters.
