Notes

1 lb light brown sugar on fermentable list = 1 lb sugar is combined with 4 - 6 TBSP water and boiled on stove until combined and darkens to create caramel type solution. 1 tsp vanilla extract (pure) and 0.75 tsp salt added after boiling and stirred to combine. This is added to boil at 15 min remaining.

We have been unable to hit target OG with this recipe (always 1.060 - 1.062) and we attribute this to differences in the calculator's values for "light brown sugar" vs the actual sugar/caramel solution we put into the brew.
