Weyermann acidulated malt, also called Acid Malt, is used for the reduction of wort-pH. This leads to a better mash working, intensified fermentation, lighter Pilsner color, improved flavor stability, and well-rounded beer flavor. Sold per pound.
Flavor: Acidulated with lactic acid, making it a great use in sour styles.

Color: Contributes light straw color
Applications:
• 1 - 5% for Pilsner, Light Beer, "Schankbiere", Wheat Beer, Ales
• 10% for Sour styles such as Lambic, Berliner Weisse, Gose & Gueuze.
