Oak-Smoked Wheat malt is specifically designed for traditional northeastern European wheat ales. Its fine oak smoke aroma and taste are thus most suited to Grodziskie (Grätzer beer) and similar styles. But the oak smoked flavor is an interesting substitute for cherry smoked, beech smoked, or peat smoked malts in any smoked beer, or an interesting addition to any wheat beer or ale.

Applications:
• 5-10% for pronounced smoke character in a wide range of lager styles, and ales including red ale, brown ale, stouts and porters
• Up to 100% in Smoked beers, and specialty beers like Grodziskie (Grätzer beer), Bamberger Rauchbier, and Kellerbier.
Crushed Grains: Grains are crushed at a .035" gap by default. If you require a different gap, please let us know in your order comments.
