Notes

Single infusion mash at 154⁰F for 45 minutes

Single decoction of 5 quarts thick mash (mostly grain, little bit of liquid) on medium/high heat and stir for 45 minutes. Grain will darken.

Add decoction back to main mash bit by bit and stir. Then mash out at 170⁰F for 15 minutes.

Check pre-boil gravity should be 1.042

Add first wort hops and boil for 90 minutes

OG gravity should be 1.047

Ferment under pressure of 15 psi for 5-7 days.
Hold at room temperature for 3 days for diacetyl rest.
