  • Brew Day at Oracle Brewing Co
Sunday, June 2nd at Noon: Brew Your Own Beer at Oracle Brewing Co! Oracle Brewing Company's owner and head brewer, Cody, will be brewing up a large batch of 100% 2-Row base wort. The base wort will be divided among participating homebrewers to turn into their own masterpiece. Choose your own steeping grains, hops, yeast and adjuncts. We'll meet up again in a couple of weeks for a side by side tasting. If you would like to brew at Oracle, please RSVP to deadendbrewers@gmail.com. If you'd just like to come hang out and drink some great brews, that's encouraged too! As always, feel free to bring homebrews to share if you'd like. For more info, please visit the official event page.

**The Follow-Up Tasting Event has been scheduled for Thursday, July 11th at 6:30pm. If you participated in the brew day, please bring samples of your beer to Oracle Brewing Co to show off to the rest of the group! As always, anyone else is welcome to join and bring samples of their own homebrews to share too. For address info and updates on this event, please visit the event page at: https://www.facebook.com/events/2239416526144468/

  • Brew in a Bag Brew Day with Bill
Thursday, July 25th at 5pm: Local homebrewer, Bill Menzl, will be hosting a brew day using the Brew in a Bag method. Brew in a Bag is an equipment-simplified form of all grain brewing with which mashing, sparging (optional) and boiling is all done in a single vessel - rather than traditional all grain brewing which uses multiple vessels and pieces of equipment to accomplish the same thing. As always, everyone is welcome to join and feel free to bring homebrew samples to share! • Helios Hops Tour
Thursday, August 15th at 6:30pm: Join us for a tour of Helios Hop Farms located at 4159 E Hubbard Rd, Midland, MI 48642. Owner Nick Goodman will show us around and answer any questions you have regarding starting a hop farm, maintaining it year round, harvesting, and packaging hops. This is a free event open to all. As always, feel free to bring some homebrews for sampling!
